This is a personal website. It has no mission statement, no editorial calendar, and no content strategy. There is no newsletter to subscribe to. You will never be asked to join a community. Nobody is building a brand here.

What’s here is just… stuff. Stuff shared for the oldest and least monetizable reason on the internet: because putting things out into the world is better than keeping them in a drawer.

There was a time when having a personal website didn’t require a thesis. You just made a page, put your things on it, and that was that. No one agonized over whether their site conveyed the right personal brand. No one worried about SEO. The phrase “thought leader” had not yet been invented. Man, I miss those days.

This site is my attempt to recapture a little of that spirit. It is also, if I’m being honest, yet another example of building something from scratch instead of just using the perfectly good (but monetized to their death) tools that already exist. There are dozens of platforms that would have made this easier. But “easier” was never really the point.

If you’ve found your way here, welcome. Look around. There’s no paywall and no tracking – though there are a couple Projects that are behind logins because of the data they contain.
